Dual 7-segment board

February 24th 2016

A dual 7-segment board for your Raspberry Pi B+, controlled by two 74HC595 shift registers.
Give your Raspberry Pi (model B+) two awesome 7-segment displays on a single board. The board also contains two LEDs that can be used as status indicators.
Usage Suggestions
Two 7-segment displays make an ideal status display for any Raspberry Pi, especially when in a "headless" configuration.
The source for this kit, available at the link below, contains example programs for displaying: memory usage, memory usage and CPU temperature. There is a also an example program for displaying all of these in turn, using the two LEDs to show which parameter is being displayed.
Latest build instructions here (PDF).
