Desktop Temperature   Pascal (Random number generator / Dice Kit)   Picamoo (Development board for PICAXE 08M2+)
An electronic temperature display for your desk, at home or work.   An electronic dice kit built around two 7-segment LED displays and a PICAXE microcontroller. The kit is available with red or high brightness blue LEDs.   A development board for the PICAXE 08M2+ microcontroller, a great little chip that can run at 32MHz - without any extra components!
Powered by a PICAXE microcontroller, the temperature is displayed on two bright red high quality 7-segment displays.   The onboard microcontroller comes with 10 built-in dice modes.    
 
     
Bi-colour Mini Torch   6 Digit Counter (based on the 4026 IC)    
Available in several colour-combinations (red/green, blue/red and white/red), this bi-colour torch is an ideal first project for those interested in electronics. It would also serve as a great introduction to circuits, soldering and electronics.   A counter board featuring 6 20,3mm high 7-segment LED displays, and driven by 6 4026 logic ICs.    
    There are six ICs in total driving the 6 20.3mm 7-segment LEDs, allowing for counts of 0 to 999,999. Daisy chain them together for billions of counts!

A shift register powered board. Comprises a common anode 4 digit 7-segment LED display driven by two 74HC595 shift registers. The entire display is controlled from just three control lines and a 5v and GND line.   .    
Can be controlled by a number of microcontollers and electronics platforms including Aruino, PICAXE (X1/X2/M2 parts recommended), Parallax and Raspberry Pi.

An 8 LED version of the Freeman 10 kit above.   4x4 10mm LED grid, driven by two 74HC595 shift register ICs.   A shift register powered board. Comprises 16 5mm LEDs laid out in a heart-shaped arrangement.
        This kit would make a fanastic Valentine's Day project! But the LED arrangement lends itself to a quirky binary clock, counter, temperature guage... and many more.

A quad 74HC595 shift register board. Four shift registers that can be used for testing and prototying any shift register based projects   A dual 74HC595 shift register board. Two shift registers that can be used for testing and prototying any shift register based projects   A 555 astable oscillator breakout board. Experiment with various capactitor and resistor combinations. Available with straight or right-angled headers for direct connection to breadboards.
Can be used as a single, dual, triple of quad shift register giving 8 - 32 outputs.   Can be used as a single or dual shift register giving 8 or 16 outputs.   The 555 timer will output a steady stream of pulses whose frequency and duty cycle are determined only by the values of the capacitor, C, and resistors R1 and R2. Resistors can either be the normal fixed value type, variable resistors (trimmers or potentiometers), temperature sensors or light-sensitive devices (LDRs). The frequency of the pulsing will change as the resistor(s) value changes.
 
     
555 Monostable Breakout Board   8x 3mm LED Breakout Board    
A 555 monostable oscillator breakout board. Experiment with various capactitor and resistor combinations. Available with straight or right-angled headers for direct connection to breadboards.   Eight 3mm LEDs on a small breakout board. Attach it to a breadboard, or header on a PCB and use it for debug output or as part of your project.    
The 555 timer will output a single pulse of a length specified by the user-selected capacitor and resistor.

A combination of a 555 timer IC and a 4017 counter/divider IC on the same board, connected to 10 LEDs. A great way to learn about both chips.   A 555 astable oscillator breakout board.
